Job Summary

Staron offers personalized service to meet our decerning clients design needs through all stages of every project. We are seeking an energetic, polished, and focused Full Time Sales Associate to join our Los Angeles Showroom. We believe deeply that the “right” people are our greatest asset.

Duties and Responsibilities

·         Provide support for showroom requests, projects, and clients in the showroom as well as in the field

·         Assist fellow sales associates in the showroom and team members who are working remotely

·         Work collaboratively with fellow sales associates

·         Generate sales for both bespoke rugs and broadloom –following up on all quotes and leads

·         Consistent follow through once orders have been placed

·         Handle client sample requests

·         Communicate with customer service department on status of samples and orders

·         Ability to coordinate installation services when needed

·         Assist clients over the phone, via email and on the showroom floor by providing guidance and product information, as needed

·         Deliver the best possible customer service while enhancing the JD Staron experience by offering the highest quality product and service standards in the luxury design market

·         Consistently seek to expand your working knowledge of interior design and current JD Staron collections

Experience & Skills

·         1-2 years of experience working in a retail or showroom environment

·         The ability to multitask and be proactive in a fast-paced environment

·         Able to do some lifting

·         Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the luxury interior design industry

·         Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills

·         High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative

·         Proficiency in MS Windows and Office suite

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills

·         A positive attitude
