An architectural landmark anchoring Los Angeles’ elite design district, Pacific Design Center (PDC) is the West Coast destination for global design. Award-winning Pacific Design Center is the West Coast’s leading resource for the traditional and contemporary residential and contract furnishings, fabrics, floor coverings, architectural products, wallcoverings, lighting, kitchen and bath products, and accessories.
The 1.6 million square-foot campus presents nearly 100 boutique to international showroom brands, representing 2,200 product lines available to source by professional interior designers, architects, facility managers, decorators and dealers.
Pacific Design Center also serves the needs of the design, entertainment and arts communities by providing dramatic public and private spaces for screenings, exhibitions, lectures, meetings, special events and receptions.
A premier, multi-use facility, Pacific Design Center features two restaurants (Design Cafe & Silver Bullet Express); The SilverScreen Theater, a 294 seat state-of-the-art luxury film venue and reception facility; the Conference Center, a 200 seat facility fully equipped for conferences and meetings, and a Michael Graves designed Fitness Center.
Designed by architect Cesar Pelli, FAIA, the beautifully landscaped, 14-acre campus is located in the City of West Hollywood, CA. Pacific Design Center’s “Blue Whale” opened in 1975 at 750,000 square-feet. Realizing Pelli’s original vision, the Green Building followed in 1988 at 450,000 square-feet and, finally, the Red Building in 2012 at 400,000 square-feet, offering class A, creative office space for premier businesses, including entertainment, fashion, technology and the arts.
Pacific Design Center is located in the heart of West Hollywood, at the corner of Melrose Avenue and San Vicente Boulevard. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please contact your design professional or our Design Services department to refer a designer who will accompany you during your visit.

Design Clientele
To make arrangements for your clients to visit the PDC without you:
- Write an email to Maria Hughes at mhughes@pacificdesigncenter.com with your client’s name, address and telephone number.
- Specify the showroom(s) you wish them to visit, a contact person and the terms and service you would like the showroom(s) to provide, i.e., memo samples, tear sheets, prices, etc.
- Specify the day your clients are to visit the PDC. If repeat showroom visits are to be made, indicate those dates in the letter. This letter must be signed by the design professional working with the client.
Not all showrooms will allow visits by unaccompanied clients, so please check with the showroom in advance.
Advise your clients they will be required to show a letter of introduction to every showroom they visit in the building.
Members of the Public
If you are not currently working with a designer but would like to take advantage of PDC’s vast array of exclusive inventory, you should contact Corey Pernicano at 310 360 6418 or email cpernicano@pacificdesigncenter.com to coordinate admission to showrooms. Generally, showrooms will not allow public admittance to their suites without correspondence from the building.

While designer registration is not required for admission to PDC, it is strongly advised. Each showroom will qualify design professionals and trade buyers when they enter unless they are not already a known customer of the showroom. Policies may vary from showroom to showroom, as do sample and quote request requirements.
