Job Description:

TableArt is a high-end specialty retailer located in the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood

TableArt seeks a full-time showroom assistant. TableArt's focus is high-end product for home dining and entertaining (tabletop); luxury bed linens and bath linens; and bathroom accessories.

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely and assisting members of the TableArt sales team
  • Assisting customers
  • Processing transactions at point of sale
  • Greeting and assisting customers
  • Generating customer orders and purchase orders; and monitoring status of these orders
  • Answering phones and responding to emails
  • Assisting with inventory (including receiving, unpacking, stocking, restocking and refreshing showroom)
  • Daily maintenance of showroom
  •  Assisting in maintaining website and managing fulfillment of web orders
  • Other responsibilities as assigned from time to time
Computer skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook, required.  Experience with Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat is a plus.
Prior retail or showroom experience, particularly with luxury goods, is desired.  We are willing to consider bright, motivated individuals with interior design backgrounds.
Successful candidate must be dedicated, a quick learner, responsible, professional and an outstanding multi-tasker; must also have excellent computer, customer service and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are extremely important.

Compensation & Benefits:

Generous hourly compensation. Compensation will also include: employer-paid health care benefits, including vision and dental after a waiting period; and employer-sponsored 401(k) plan after a waiting period
