TBT: Maison De Luxe
Posted on 02/11/16
mdl The Maison De Luxe designer show house debuted this past fall at one of Beverly Hill’s most glamorous and historic estates, the Doheney Greystone Mansion. Produced by Luxe Interiors + Design, the property's large and luxurious quarters became the perfect canvas for twenty three top designers from across the country to showcase their individual style. From bold designs by Timothy Corrigan, to the streamlined aesthetic found in the living room designed by Sarah Story, Maison De Luxe offered inspiration for all, reflecting the creative vision of each designer. Sponsors lent a hand in making the designers' vision a reality by providing furniture and materials by iconic brands such as Pacific Design Center's own Duralee and Bausman & Company. Just in case you missed this exclusive event, here are a few product highlights that can be found around PDC, to incorporate into your own grand designs. Pieces by Made Goods can be found in a majority of the rooms throughout the show house and add an extra layer of texture and luxury to the overall design. Witford LA carries a wide selection of their faux-shagreen accessories including trays and accents, as well as side tables and lined bookshelves. Screen Shot 2016-02-11 at 12.18.03 PM Mark D. Sikes transformed the Grand Garden Hallway into an indoor treillage gallery with use of vibrant wallpaper and lush greens. The classic Zanzibar Trellis wallpaper by Schumacher was the perfect addition to brighten up the space and create a botanical feel. Should you be looking to spice up a room or even browse for inspiration, their PDC showroom on the Fourth Floor of the Blue Building is packed with bright colors and intricate patterns. The thin metal-framed piece can be custom made in various metal finishes and fabrics. This bench and other unique pieces are available to view and customize at their LA showroom.
